Terms and Conditions:

All prices are subject to VAT at 21%

All prices subject to withdrawl and change without notice.

Tiles must be installed by a competent person - preferably an approved/recommended flooring contractor willing to guarantee their work.

All tiles are inspected before dispatch - refunds are only possible on returned faulty tiles (this does not include previously fitted tiles, scratched or damaged tiles).

Damaged boxes/ goods need reporting on delivery date as we cannot be held responsible for their storage and transportation thereafter.

Any problems with payment transaction will delay or cancel the sales contract and not guarantee original order from stock.

Over-ordered tiles cannot be refunded.

Separate orders of the same product will not necessarily colour match unless it is possible and agreed upon on initial order.

Exclusions: (Undefloor Heating)

The Salvador guarantee does not cover the installation or the condition of the floor once installed- this must be set by the flooring contractor, retailer and maintenance contractor.

Damaged floors including scratches or discolouration as a result of misuse, contact with acids or solvents, chemicals, excess fluids (e.g. floods) abrasives, sharp implements, lifting and unstuck tiles and any other damaging factors.

Claims arising from sub-floor imperfections such as rising damp, penetrating damp, subsidence, movement in floor joists, badly fitted subfloor preparation, uneven plyboard and screeds etc.

Discolouration due to underfloor heating pipes and hot water pipes being not sufficiently buried in concrete floor screeds. This is the responsibility of the heating contractor. Underfloor heating and hot water pipes must be buried at least 2.5” under the screed and the floor slab must not go above 26 degrees centigrade which equates to a relative room temperature of 20 degrees centigrade.

Failure of installation due to using different branded adhesive and wrong application. These can be tested on site and in laboratory.

Slippages, injuries and appearance of floors caused by poor installation and low/ non maintenance.

Damage and appearance of floors caused by using unrecommended maintenance products.

Square or oblong tiles installed over a large area can gradually start to kick out. This is due to the shape of undulating floors or poor installation.

20 Year Residential Guarantee:

20 Year Residential Guarantee applies to the general wear of the tile only in conjunction with fair usage policy and proper maintenance.

The guarantee is that under normal conditions the tile will not wear entirely through its wear layer and destroy the flooring image/print (set in the tile/plank). If so the affected tile(s) will be replaced (without installation) or the original cost of the tile(s) refunded.

The 20 Year Residential Guarantee applies to Salvador Tiles only.

Recommended adhesives and maintenance products must be used.

15 Year Commercial Guarantee:

15 Year Commercial Guarantee applies to the general wear of the tile only in conjunction with fair usage policy and proper maintenance.

The guarantee is that under normal conditions the tile will not wear entirely through its wear layer and destroy the flooring image/print (set in the tile/plank). If so the affected tile(s) will be replaced (without installation) or the original cost of the tile(s) refunded.

The 15 Year Commercial Guarantee applies to Salvador Tiles only

Recommended adhesives and maintenance products must be used.

Fair Usage Policy:

Usage of normal footwear must be implemented (no golf shoes, running spikes etc.)

Use appropriate lifting gear for heavy, sharp, dangerous, unstable objects etc., (never drag objects as this can damage all types of floors).

Protective felt/rubber pads should be put on furniture feet.

Appropriate matting at all step on and step off areas.

Adhesives:

Uzin adhesive must be used with Salvador Tiles and their strict application guidelines.

Uzin 2000S- Pressure sensitive adhesive with very high strength suitable for underfloor heating where floor slab does not exceed 26 degrees centigrade.

Uzin K66- Fibre reinforced adhesive with extra high dimensional strength- avoids compression of adhesive during installation and minimizes residual indentation. Suitable for commercial areas, areas with castor wheels, wet shampoo and spray extraction cleaning systems, south facing conservatories and shop fronts (with excessive radiant heat) and warm water underfloor heating systems (floor slab not exceeding 26 degrees centigrade).

Uzin KR 421 Two-part epoxy resin adhesive used for floors subject to moisture attack, mechanical wear and temperature extremes (work areas, commercial, industrial, sports locations, and on underfloor heating systems).

Residential Maintenance:

Dr-Schutz is our recommended manufacturer of maintenance products and should be used to validate our guarantee.

Clean and Strip- Special cleaning agent for cleaning and stripping of newly installed or heavily soiled vinyls. Removes the remains of adhesive residue, old care products and stubborn stains.

Active Cleaner R280- An active cleaning agent for the removal of severe dirt, fat and grease without affecting polymer sealers.

Floor Cleaner R1000-Cleans and protects the flooring in one step. Creates an anti-slip satin finish, water soluble protective film.

Floor Matt - Matt polish for both the initial protection of newly laid/ thoroughly cleaned floors and subsequent routine cleaning. When dry it forms an anti-slip satin finish.

Floor Shine- Shiny polish for both the initial protection of newly laid/ thoroughly cleaned floors and subsequent routine cleaning. When dry it forms an anti-slip glossy finish.

Commercial Maintenance- PU Sealers for long-term protection:

PU Sealer Matt- Extremely hard wearing two-part polyurethane based super sealer. Forms a matt anti-slip finish with excellent elasticity. Meets DIN 18032 standards (good enough for most commercial areas including sports halls).

PU Sealer Anti-Slip- Two-part sealer includes a special additive (to be mixed in before application) to increase the floors anti-slip grade to R10. This makes the floor very slip resistant and super hard wearing. Matt finish.

PU- Anticolour- Special two-part polymer sealer with increased resistance to chemical dying (hair colourants, wound disinfectants) and plastisizer migration (normally from rubber tyres in car showrooms). An extremely hard wearing sealer with a matt finish.

PU Cleaner- Ideal cleaner and maintainer for PU sealed floors. Removes dirt, fat, grease and shoe marks. Does not leave a residue.
